Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

You are not required to enter your name or email address to comment on SimlyAbbi. By submitting and writing a comment on the Disqus comment form as seen on SimplyAbbi this is your consent for it to be published.

Any email entered voluntarily on the Disqus comment form will only be used by Disqus if necessary and is not used for any newsletters or provided for any third party, basically, I don’t use or keep the email address that you voluntarily enter.

Any comments can be removed from the site if you require by emailing abbichalk@gmail.com. I will be more than happy to remove your comment.

We do not share your data with third parties with exception of being required to do so by law or of the winner’s details in situations such as giveaways whereby the name, address and email address may be passed on to the company I am collaborating with. By entering any giveaway, or entering personal information on this website you are agreeing to these terms.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

What rights you have over your data

If you have left comments on SimlyAbbi, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
