How I use my Bullet Journal For Blogging

Bullet journalling has become one of my favourite ways to keep my life organised. A blank notebook, ready to become, in my case, the backbone of everything I do. Bullet journals have the ability to case anything and everything you want in them and whilst I definitely miss buying god knows how many random but pretty notebooks I never manage to quite fill, I have truly jumped on the bullet journal bandwagon and have truly seen the benefits work for themselves.

The March To-Do List

Well hello, snowy pictures! It just had to be done, didn’t it? When I was planning the upcoming photography for this month on SimplyAbbi I had pictured this post with some beautiful Spring inspired photography and whilst we have had some sun and warmer days, the Beast From The East soon made it’s dreaded appearance.

What I’ve Learnt About Love

What I Have Been Thankful For This Month

It doesn’t matter how positive I am trying to be or if the sun is shining or if my Glossier orders arrive early, I’m just not the biggest fan of January. At all. It is cold, rainy, feels as if it is lasting forever and I’m still struggling to control my finances after a very spendy December. It probably doesn’t help that I have another cold (will it ever go?) and I’m currently typing this from my bed with a Beechams Cold and Flu Blackcurrant drink I’m trying to force down. I am very much looking forward to February, we are one step closer to Spring (who else is excited for florals and sun and warmth?!), which in turns mean a little bit closer to Summer and everything just seems a little better when February rolls around, doesn’t it?

Falling back in love with Reading

For me, reading is one of those that I really love to do but rarely find the time for. Which is why, when I spoke of digital detoxing last week, I thought it was the perfect time to get my head stuck into a good book or two. There is something truly magical about transporting yourself into another world through words and your imagination and since I’ve got back into turning the pages, I have really enjoyed immersing myself in all these stories and find myself really making the time to flick through a chapter or two.

How I’m Organising Myself in 2018

Spending some time organising my life is literally one of my favourite ‘life admin’ things to do. There is just no better sense of accomplishment than when you have organised yourself and can actually feel the benefits working in your everyday life. Because of my obsession with having everything ever written down or stored somewhere or other and knowing how easily distracted I can get leading me to forget everything, I’m actually not too shabby when it comes to organising myself and I do find myself actually enjoying the process setting up and filling out my bullet journal, finding uses for the riduclous amount of stationary I own and having a very neat and efficient iCal (if I do say so myself!).
