Walking Away From What You Don’t Need …

It has taken me years to learn that ultimately, happiness comes from you. You are the creator, the motivator and the teacher of it. My mother always tells me and has always told me throughout my years, that surround yourself with positive things and positive people and it will quite literally breed positivity.

The Summer Holiday Reads

I do not know about you but, I do not read enough. Unlike my mother who can quite literally read a book a day, I never find myself with my head stuck in a book, my mind a million miles away reading someone else’s fantasy world. I can spend hours on Youtube and Netflix but reading is just not something I jump into. But then, I went on holiday. Thoughts on Turning 22

I cannot believe I am writing my birthday post, the last year has whizzed past since I wrote my 21st birthday post about the 21 lessons I have learnt in 21 years and now I am at the official age where I can stick on Taylor Swift’s 22 and finally *relate*. June Favourites

I cannot believe I am writing out my June favourites… how on earth are we in JULY?! I am super excited though, July is looking to be a pretty exciting month. First up we have my birthday where I will be turning the ripe ol’ age of 22 (I can confirm that I will be having the T Swift on repeat all day). It is only a few days away now and I have not really considered any plans, birthdays are always typically a quiet affair, I do not like to go too over the top with them so it will probably be a nice meal out with the family in the evening and perhaps a day-time trip down to Old Leigh which is my favourite place to spend a sunny day.

The Gran Canaria Photo Diary

That was all Georiga and I wanted when browsing numerous holiday websites back on a grey day in April. We were knee deep in university work, I was typing out of the last of my ten thousand words for my dissertation whilst trying to plan two more essays, write a weekly academic blog and it just hit me. I needed a break. A break that featured a healthy dose of sun, sea and sand.

Reflecting on my time at University

I’ve done it. I have finished university. The last four years of my life have all been leading up to that final hand-in I have just submitted. That final time that I have accessed our online portal, StudentCentral. The final visit to the library. It is officially done and dusted. And what a journey it has been.
