The Christmas Jumper with Boohoo and Teenage Cancer …

Over the last few years, Christmas jumpers have well and truly come into their own and it has become a Christmas tradition to hunt down what jumper you are going to be sporting this year. Will you be going for something jokey? Perhaps something that lights up? Has tinsel on? Maybe even something that plays music? The possibilities are truly endless and last year I wore a bright green jumper with a reindeer on it alongside some flashing lights, just for the extra measure you know. But this year, may I introduce you my 2017 jumper from Boohoo and whilst it doesn’t light up, it’s a little bit special (have a scroll down to see why!)

Little Ways To Cheer Yourself Up This December

There is no denying that December is the most magical month there is. The Christmas festivities are all around, twinkling lights in every window, smiles on everyone’s faces, it’s the season of goodwill and making incredible memories you’ll want to remember for years to come. But, even with the touch of magic in the air, it is also an overwhelming month. The pressure for the perfect Christmas, the pressure to perhaps see family you would not typically see for your own reasons, the pressure to make sure everyone has the perfect gifts, the pressure to make sure this year day is as good as the last. The financial pressure can be pretty tough too, it’s an incredibly expensive time of year and the costs associated with Christmas can leave you overwhelmed and anxious.

The Christmas Gift Guide

Whether you are stuck with gift ideas for your girl gang, mother hen, grandmother, sister, cousin, work colleague or niece (the list is endless) or simply looking for inspiration for yourself, I have put together a little gift guide for you of some of the things that *ahem* I love and some things that I truly think make the perfect gift. I have tried to keep it affordable, I know we are not all made of money and there are still so many beautiful, thoughtful and special gifts that do not require you to spend all the dollar.

Staying Cosy This Winter

*Post Sponsered By Jack Wills

I don’t know about you guys… but I am blooming cold! This week alone I have dug out the electric blanket (what a beauty that is!), wrapped myself up in my rather impressive collection of throws and blankets, found my favourite bobble hat and slept in the fluffy PJ’s for the first time since February. It’s cold, Winter is definitely upon us and right about now, it’s time to get cosy.

The Comfiest Winter Coat You Need This Year

This year, I was one of those people who managed to buy their Winter coat nice and early and believe me, I am taking full comfort in knowing that when the temperatures truly drop (which is round about… now), myself and my new coat, are fully prepared. For me, there was only one style of coat I was going for this year… the Teddy Bear Coat. The truly comfiest, softest coat that will have you reaching out wanting to stroke every one you see. But, truthfully, the best thing about a Teddy Bear coat is that it encompasses all of the Winter coat needs: warmth, length and style. Normally I struggle to find the perfect coat that ticks all three boxes, but the Teddy Bear coat truly does and more.

Why I’m ok with not having it all together

Why I’m ok with not having it …

Alongside running this blog, I work part-time in a local pub. The one thing everyone asks me in that pub is ‘what are you going to do now you’ve got your degree?’ And minus a few people, most people don’t understand why a) I’m working in a pub in the first place b) I haven’t got a full-time fancy job in London yet, my own flat and my own independence… three months after receiving my degree. Most of the time, this chat doesn’t bother me, I’m well aware that they are simply making small talk with someone they know nothing about apart from going to university. But recently, I’ve had more people tell me the ‘horrors’ of getting degrees and you may not believe a number of times I’ve been told ‘it’s so hard getting a job with a degree now’ ‘my sisters cousins friend got a degree years ago and still hasn’t got a job’, ‘oooh, bet your in loads of debt now!’, they say with a grin on their face. Most of the time I just laugh and agree, because I’m sure most of is true but I can’t quite fight the niggling thought in my mind of… ‘these people don’t think I have together’. Do these people think I’m wasting my time? Wasting my degree?
