Not just for Summer
I couldn’t help it, the second I saw this jumper hanging up in Berksha, I just had to have it. It was the last one in a small, so naturally, it was fate, right? It ticks all the boxes, oversized, cosy, soft, there was no way this wasn’t coming home with me. It’s the perfect throw-on piece, the piece I grab when I’m running late for university, the piece I throw on over a t-shirt before I leave the house to keep warm. It’s the perfect comforter whilst still being effortlessly chic, warm and the slightly larger fit makes it incredibly cosy, perfect for those chilly lecture rooms.
Frills are normally associated with pretty, floaty summer dresses and skirts but recently, we’ve seen them appear more and more in Winter-friendly fashion. On shirts, sleeves, jumpers and even jeans, frills have become such a wardrobe essential. I’ve linked some of my absolute favourite pieces below, some of which might just have to magically appear in my wardrobe… I mean, have you seen those Topshop Gingham trousers? They’re giving off those Emma Stone, La La Land vibes I’m obsessed with right now.
So, what do you think? Do you need to add more ‘frills’ into your life? (Ok, I’m sorry, that pun was truly awful! *inserts the cringe-monkey emoji*). I, for one, am all over this trend, so cute, so easy and the high-street is loving it too, so pretty affordable if you need it to be!
Also, I am digging the pink wall in these photos! Well worth the trek and the several streets we walked down to find it, right?!
