If there was one palette that took over the blogger-waves of 2014; it had to be this one! The Virtual Domination Cheek Palette is sophisticated packaging at it’s finest and, let’s be honest, the content inside the wonderful packaging does not disappoint. With 5 of NARS finest, this really is a must have palette in your collection. I was yet to try a NARS blush before buying this (yes, I know, beauty blogger shame) and I couldn’t help but think this was the perfect way to give them a whirl. This has three (amazing) blushes, one highlighter and world’s famous Laguna bronzer!
Without a doubt, Final Cut is my absolute favourite with the whole peachy-spring look going on; this is going to be a very much loved colour in Summer. It’s similar to MAC’s Melba and with light application, can give you a wonderful natural warm look. I have been itching to try Deep Throat for years now, so nothing pleases me more than the fact that it’s in this palette. Of course, being one of NARS most popular shades; those who already have this in their collection may be put off from buying this palette… but just think of the travel friendly options this palette posses and it is also home to two limited edition shades. I find Deep Throat just a little bit too much for me right now, but I’m super excited to try this in Summer where, with any luck, I will have a bit more of a tan. There’s also the Sex Fantasy blush, which is a light Barbie pink and my most used in this palette. Perfect for adding a nice pinky hue to the cheeks without being too overpowering and looks simply incredible alongside a pink lip too! Miss Liberty isn’t my favourite highlighter in the world, it posses just a little bit too much glitter for me so isn’t best suited for a everyday look but looks amazing with a little bit more heavier look in the evening for hitting the clubs/bars/wherever you spend your Friday and Saturday nights. There’s definitely a reason why Laguna is so popular. It seems to be just the perfect bronzer; it’s not my favourite for contouring, but for some much needed warmth and definition; this is perfect.
The packaging is just divine, isn’t it? There’s nothing like having this on display and I much prefer to the standard matte black packaging that never looks clean after you use it a few times. It stands out but isn’t too in your face and the mirror inside is just the most perfect size. The packaging is super easy to clean as well, if you get foundation marks over it, a quick wipe with a makeup wipe and it looks as good as new! All of which makes this palette perfect for travelling; you wouldn’t even need to pack another blusher!
At just £45 (bargain) this palette really is a must have! According to the Space.Nk website, the combined retail value is £117! Saving you 62%. Do I really need to give you another reason to add this to your virtual shopping basket right now?!
