Rimmel Colour Rush Balm ‘Give Me A Cuddle’ Balm Review

Clinique Chubby Stick-type-crayons have been around for quite a while now and recently, Rimmel launched their very own! I actually really like crayons, I find them easy to apply and I always seem to the like the packaging of them. I picked up ‘Give Me A Cuddle’ which, as you can see, is a beautiful pink shade!

First of, I just have to point out the beaaaaautiful vanilla scent I noticed as I went to apply the product on my lips; I normally hate scents with makeup but for some reason, this one is particularly nice, it’s not too strong or chemical smelling and it doesn’t last for long either but, it’s still a nice ‘pick me up’ in the morning! Give Me a Cuddle is a beautiful Barbie pink shade that isn’t too vibrant but can definitely be build able if you’re looking for a more stand out shade. What I love though is that this isn’t too glossy; yet not 100% matte, it’s the perfect in-between, like a Satin finish I would say. This really isn’t drying on the lips at all, it’s nice and easy to apply and it lasts for a good few hours! It does stain just a little on the lips as well, which I’m not a big fan of personally as I do find it does stain unevenly but I can definitely look past that!

As this is a balm, it applies beautifully on the lips; so soft and creamy and doesn’t feel like you’re applying lipstick at all. The balm aspect of it doesn’t stick around for long; the niceness will go soon but the colour stays put for a good while.

This is undeniably both a lovely product and beautiful colour! In fact I love this so much, it’s been placed in my ‘everyday makeup bag’ and believe me, you’ve got to be good to go in there! 😉
What do you think? Have you tried any of these yet?
