MAC Skinfinish ‘Soft & Gentle’ || REVIEW

I have no doubt that you’ve heard about the infamous MAC Cosmetics Skinfinish in ‘Soft and Gentle’. It’s safe to say one of MAC’s most popular items so it was such an easy to choice to make when I popped in to buy my first skinfinish!

I’ve always been unbelievably lazy when it comes to highlighter as I just didn’t see the point… but after trying this little gem, I really can’t believe I went so long without it in my routine! This makes that last extra step so worth it when you’re applying your makeup! MAC goes ahead and describes it as a “strong-plated bronze peach” which I definitely agree with. Although, you could say this looks a little scary in the pan; this translates ever so beautifully on your skin.

It’s super soft and applies easily like a dream. The colour is incredibly natural, so it’s not going to affect the colour of your makeup but it really does give you a healthy, natural and ever so beautiful glow. It’s not too heavy on your skin so you won’t go out looking like a disco ball but it’s give you enough glow to show but it’s incredibly natural yet does an amazing job at highlighting your cheeks bone (and wherever else you wish to apply).

You get a good 10g of product and if you’re still wondering if it’s worth it for you, you literally only need the tiniest bit of this product to give your face a healthy glow so this really is going to last you a very long time. Another benefit is that it doesn’t transfer or drop, it stays exactly where you’ve applied it  and holds onto my skin as long as my foundation does (so around a good four hours for me).

I’ve tried a few highlights throughout my makup wearing, blog writing life and without a doubt, this is the best (and prettiest) I’ve tried. I wear this every make-up wearing day without fail and really can’t see this now not being in my makeup bag. A must have for every makeup lover’s collection!
